The beautiful town is a few kilometers away from Como, still it presents a different environment, to be discovered by walking or by boat, offering many holiday opportunities.

A few kilometers away from the town of Como, one should definitely visit the beautiful Cernobbio; it is a small town on the lake, renowned for its historical villas; it enjoys a favourable position, protected from Mount Bisbino and gently laid on the waters of Lake Como.

The lakeside which connects Como to Cernobbio is a cycling path 5 kms long, which can also be walked; the panorama along the whole path is marvellous. Alternatively, one can opt for a touristic sightseeing tour by boat. Among the many beautiful nineteenth century villas, we suggest a visit to Villa D'Este., the most famous, today a luxury hotel, with beautiful and well kept gardens facing the lake.

Along the lakeside one can reach a promontory on which there is Villa Pizzo, another interesting historical villa built in the XIX century. We also suggest paying a visit to the beautiful Villa Erba and Villa Bernasconi, if you have time For trekking lovers, close to the top of Mount Bisbino, 1225 meters above sea level, it is possible to enter ”Via dei monti lariani“, a path which extends for more than 100 kms on the mountains protecting Lake Como, offering to the tourist the chance to admire a breathtaking view.
