Tolfa is a small village of almost 5000 inhabitants in the province of Rome. The beautiful medieval village, located on a hill in the Tolfa Mountains, from which it takes its name, can be reached after about 40 km of full immersion in the wonderful nature that surrounds it.

Walking through the center, characterized by fascinating stone alleys, you begin to climb towards a dead end street. The climb is very steep but, once you reach the summit, you can enjoy a certainly spectacular view. As you climb up, homes in the distance become smaller and everything gets sharper.

You can see from afar this village in the countryside and the bell tower with the old clock that overlooks it. Arriving at the top of this slope you can't help but be speechless.

On the top, in the background, there is the splendid and majestic church, the Church of Madonna della Rocca, with a wonderful viewpoint in front. On a hill next door are the remains of the Rocca dei Frangipane, a really suggestive place.

All that road to this small village I would do it again... is the most characteristic place I have visited in recent times. I really recommend a visit to everyone because it is a place that gives emotions and that are not easily forgotten.
