Acquedotto Romano
The Aqueduct was built in 37 BC due to a pact that Marco Antonio and Augustus made at the time. Its function was to bring water from Red Tilles to Piazza Fontana, which is very important for that area. Its dimensions are: 207 arches and, from the explorations made in the underground aqueduct, it turns out that its length is about 18 km, and includes three different municipalities: Statte, Crispiano and Taranto.
