Collezione del '900 italiano a Palazzo Ricci

Palazzo Ricci, one of the most important in Macerata, today restored to its former glory, is home to the Cassa di Risparmio Foundation of the Province of Macerata. The Palace hosts about 350 works including painting and sculpture, of the most significant Italian artists of the century, acquired in more than twenty years by the Banking Institute with the precise intent of setting up a collection which is now configured as one of the most complete collections of contemporary art in Italy. In the beautiful dungeons, periodically, exhibitions of high cultural level are held.

Galleria d'Arte Moderna "M. Moretti"

The Gallery of Modern Art “M. Moretti” was born from the donation of collections and prints by Luciano Moretti to the Municipality of Civitanova Marche with the intent of setting up the Gallery of Modern Art dedicated to his son prematurely disappeared. The collection was recently moved to the native house of Annibal Caro and is composed of engravings and prints by artists such as Leonardo Castellani, Nunzio Gulino and others.

Museo Civico di Palazzo Cento

The Civic Museum of Palazzo Cento is located inside the homonymous Palace, built in the 16th century. You can admire the 6th — 9th century BC tombs coming from the necropolis of Moie di Pollenza. To enrich the Museum there are also some Roman finds dating back to the first century BC, among which there is a splendid floor with a painted wild boar hunt scene. The route is completed by some ceramics from the Porta del Colle factory, dating back to the 16th century.

Raccolta di Sant'Urbano

The Collection of Sant'Urbano is located within the homonymous Church, a structure of the eleventh century. It presents a collection of works of art of a religious nature, dating from the '500 onwards: paintings, vestments, furnishings and numerous other documents of great historical and cultural importance. They are mainly from gifts from Giacomo Baldini and other characters from the city who owned this type of materials. The exhibition is open to the public.
