Libraries and archives Biblioteca Queriniana In the city of Brescia in addition to other libraries, the most important is the Queriniana library, which was built in 1746 and takes its name from Bishop Angelo Maria Querini. This library has three sections: a historical section dedicated to the Risorgimento, an artistic section and one of local studies. Now there are more than 500,000 works in this library.
