Lago Effimero

Not far from Lake Locce, there is Lake Ephemeral, a basin surrounded by the perennial snows of the Belvedere Glacier. It was formed for the first time in summer 2002, and at the time it was one of the largest glacial lakes in the Alps, as it contained 3.3 million cubic meters of water, which was worrying about the safety of the places and people.
