The Podere Casa Vecchia is a wonderfully remodeled colonial structure, surrounded by meadows, woods, and olive groves, and houses antique furniture that will make you feel right at home. a lounge area, a kitchen, and a large, cozy fireplace that will help you relax. The Podere Casa Vecchia is a perfect getaway for groups or families. In the large meadow behind the house, you’ll find a large terrace complete with a barbeque grill, a picnic table, and a spacious area where you can relax in the shade of a majestic oak tree. In the green Tuscany, only 70 km from Pisa in the “Colline Metallifere” of the Upper Cecina Valley, a short drive from Volterra, the Etruscan town, and very near to Larderello, well known for the “Soffioni boraciferi” (steam jets), we renovated an old farmhouse according to the rustic Tuscan style. The farmhouse is immersed in the beautiful landscape of the Tuscan countryside. It is ideal for walking and going mountain-biking in the natural reserve of Berignone -Tatti or relaxing on the grounds of our farmhouse. La Carraia has three flats, each with independent entrance, furnished with great care and complete with every comfort. At the guests’ disposal a swimming pool, a wood-burning oven, a barbecue, and a hall where you can taste, all together, the best Tuscan dishes, cooked by the farmhouse owners.
