Chiesa di Santa Maria della Strada

The church of Santa Maria della Strada was erected in 1889 and represents one of the best examples of Romanesque architecture in southern Italy. This is located on an isolated hill among the countryside north of the town of Matrice. Very nice is the portal of the church where medieval symbols of extreme value are engraved.
