La Stua

In Padola di Comelico Superiore, on the homonymous stream, stands the “stua”, a barrier or artificial dam that made it possible to flow the timber towards the plain. Upstream of the barrier was formed a lake that collected water that, coming down violently, led the trunks to the “Perarolo Cidolo”. It has been known since 1521.
