Palazzo Montecitorio
Today seat of the Senate of the Italian Republic, it is located between Piazza del Parlamento and Monte Citorio. Cardinal Ludovisi commissioned the building to Gian Lorenzo Bernini but the original plan was completed and modified by Carlo Fontana, to be finally rebuilt during the early 1900s by Ernesto Basile. His Art nouveau influence is visible in the Transatlantico and the debating chamber, both rich of Art nouveau decorations.
