Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta detta I Gesuiti
Located in the Cannaregio district, the Church was built by the architect Domenico Rossi, called to carry out the work by the Council of Trent. The façade is divided into two orders, of which the lower one consists of 8 columns supporting 8 statues. Another 4 columns are present inside with as many statues that form as a whole the 12 “Apostles”. The plant is instead shaped like a Latin cross with 3 chapels in the longest arm.
