Tiglio monumentale

Legend has it that the large-leaved Linden of Macugnaga was planted in the second half of the '200 by the first Walser shepherds who founded the country. About 12 meters high, with a circumference of more than 8 meters, the Tiglio is located in the esplanade in front of the Cemetery and the “Old Church”.
