Zona archeologica Ostia Antica
The Osta Antica Archaeological Zone takes the name of Ostia, or rather Bocca del Fiume, as it is where the Tiber ended its course before it leaved into the Tyrrhenian Sea. The river changed its course in 1575 to sag north. This area was inhabited in remote times and played a military role. In addition, Ostia represented the coexistence of different races and cultures.
