Palazzo del Duca
Palazzo del Duca was built at the behest of Guidobaldo Della Rovere and designed by Girolamo Genga in the mid-1500s. In front of the building is the duck fountain built in 1599 by Francesco Maria Secondo to remember the drying up of the swamps that brought devastating diseases. The Palace presents inside, precisely in the Throne Room, a ceiling consisting of a wooden coffered structure painted by Taddeo Zuccari.
