Torre Sant' Angelo

The Tower of Sant'Angelo is a Norman fortification dating back to the 16th century located on the seafront of Rossano. It covered the dual function of sighting and defending the territory from the attacks of enemies. It is characterized by the star plan with four diamond-pointed ramparts. At the center stood a well that served as a water supply. During the summer, the Tower hosts cultural events, exhibitions and shows.
