Torre delle Milizie
The Tower of Milizie dates back to the 13th century and is one of the best preserved noble towers in Rome. It was built by the architect Marchionne Aretino and, after several passages to noble families in Rome, it was declared a national monument in 1911. Antonio Muñoz made some restorations in the following years and, from 1927, the Tower became part of the Mercati di Trajan complex.
