Torre della Moletta
The Torre della Moletta is part of one of the medieval buildings of Rome and is located in the archaeological complex of the Circus Maximus. The name of the tower comes from an adjacent water mill called Fosso San Giovanni, which the Romans also called Acqua Circoli. The current form of the construction was given in 1145 by the Frangipane family and it was decided that it should have a quadrangular plan and blind arches at the top.
