The Forum of Trajan was built between 107 and 112 AD, at the behest of the Emperor Trajan and inaugurated in 112 AD. The complex of 300 meters long and 185 meters wide included the square with a floor consisting of white marble slabs, a statue representing Trajan, a colonnade porch on both long sides and a large semi-circular living room. The Forum of Trajan, represents the last built and the largest of the Imperial Forums of Rome.
