Palazzo Chigi
Seat of the Italian government since the 1961, it is located in the heart of Rome along Via del Corso. Conceived by Pietro Aldobrandini, it was purchased by the Chigi family, who named it. In 1922 Benito Mussolini transferred here the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sala dei Mappamondi, the anteroom of Salone del Consiglio, Sala del Consiglio dei Ministri and Studio del Presidente del Consiglio are the most beautiful rooms to visit.
