Colonna di Marco Aurelio
The Column of Marcus Aurelius is a monument located in Rome and was built between 176 and 192 as a celebration of the victories of the homonymous emperor during the Marcomannic battles. The column has a height of 29.6 meters and consists of a spiral of 19 rocks with a diameter of 3.7 meters entirely covered by bas-reliefs that present scenes of battles won during the wars indicated above .
