Gianicolo
The Gianicolo is part of one of the hills of Rome whose height is eighty-eight meters. The name comes from the god Janus who would have founded a town known as Ianiculum. It was connected to the city of Rome in the era of Anco Marzio, through the Sublicio Bridge from where the ancient road coming from ancient Etruria passed. Particularity of the Gianicolo is a singular cannon that shoots hello at noon.
