Terme di Caracalla
They are located in the southeast area of the ancient Rome center. The Baths were built during the reign of Emperor Marcus Aurelius Antoninus, whose nickname was Caracalla, in 212 AD and works to complete them lasted five years. This structure was not only a bathing house. It was a complex of libraries, art galleries, restaurants and gymnasium, famous for its interiors with floors and walls covered in mosaics and amazing fountains and statues.
