Tempio di Antonio e Faustina
The Temple of Antonio and Faustina dates back to 141 AD and is a monument erected by Antonio Pio to his wife Faustina, after his death. The Temple has a staircase, as well as columns about 17 meters high in white marble that represented the majesty of the façade. In the eleventh century the Church of San Lorenzo in Miranda was established inside the building and, after various adventures, it was destroyed and rebuilt again in 1602.
