Castello Borromeo

The Castle was built from 1422, based on written testimonies and is the oldest possession of the Borromeo in Lombardy. This original structure includes the walls, the tower, the rivellino and the great moat. The centuries-old plants of the enclosed garden, the courtyard, the frescoed rooms contribute to creating a unique atmosphere. It is currently in excellent condition and is open to the public.
