Castello della Leonessa

The Castle of the Lioness appears to have been built between the 8th and 9th centuries. It went under the management of numerous families, including the Durres, the Caracciolo, the Leonessa and the De Tocco. During the sixteenth century, he changed his function becoming a splendid gentility residence.
