Torre del Capitano

The Captain's Tower was raised by the Byzantines who destined it to the Captain, and it was the first lookout tower—in the territory of Bari. The construction is ancient as it was built with rough stones and just blank. Developed in different floors, it is also composed of rectangular single lights that illuminate the interior space. On the outside, it was surrounded by a moat filled with water in the event of an assault.
