The Roman baths of the walled city, in the valley of the Tirso River in the Province of Oristano, were built between the 1st and 3rd century AD and in there's still water in their tubs. Archaeological findings testify to the healing properties of the waters, such as the figures of the God Bes or the sanctuary of the nymphs, which were a lot of water gods.
Depending on the Roman structure of the spa, there was a hot water pool, warm and cold water, as well as a temple and a sort of wellness center, place of massage and recreation. The water that flows has a temperature of 56°C and is a fluorinated salt-bicarbonate spring and after so many years since 2002 finally has a brand new structure where its properties are exploited to the best.
