Forte Cherle o San Sebastiano

Fort Cherle also known as Saint Sebastian was part of the fortified system of the Austrian empire placed on the border with Italy. It was built between 1911 and 1913 and immediately was put in the shot by the nearby Italian fort Campomolon. The military fortress today appears to be very damaged, although restoration works carried out during the twentieth century made it possible to access some internal galleries.
