L'Albero del Poeta

The Poet's Tree is a kind of juniper, but very large in size. It is famous because it was used as a residence by Efisio Sanna, a poet well known in the area. He and his wife lived inside the giant tree for a few months, as a form of 'protest' against those who wanted to take down the juniper. For this noble gesture the tree was saved and today it is still in its original place.
