Fontana Calamo
The Calamo Fountain is a historical monument. The construction dates back to 1560 by the architect Pellegrino Tibaldi. It is also known as the Fountain of 13 Cinnamels and represents one of the symbolic places of the center of Ancona. It is called the Fountain of 13 cinnamons because it is built from 13 masks, 12 bronzes and 1 in stone, representing satyrs and faunas. To return to the city, according to a tradition, you should drink the water that flows from the fountain.
