Riviera di Ulisse

The regional park of the Simbruini Mountains is bordered to the west and northwest by the Aniene Valley, to the southwest by that of the Sacco, to the east by the border of Abruzzo (Simbruini d'Abruzzo Mountains and Carseolani Mountains), south- east from the Ernici mountains. It covers about 30,000 hectares and for its vastness it represents the largest protected area in Lazio.
