Museo dell'Istituto Ellenico
The Museum of the Greek Institute of Venice contains the most important collection of icons from Western Europe and the oldest dates back to the 14th century. 104 are at the museum, the others in the church, dating from the fourteenth and eighteenth centuries. Most of the collection came with the settlement in Venice by the Greeks, fleeing from the Turks.
