Museo Pio IX

The Pius IX Museum shows visitors pieces from the life of Giovanni Maria Ferretti, who became Pope in 1846. Located at the Pontiff's Birthplace, in the historic center of the city, the Museum exhibits paintings by the painter Giovanni Anastasi. Inside the museum, you could admire a beautiful representation hall of various works. Giovanni Maria Ferretti, was proclaimed Blessed in 2000.
