Villa Medicea

The Medici Villa of Poggio a Caiano was built according to the architecture of Lorenzo the Magnificent in 1480. In the living room we can admire allegorical frescoes decorated by the Medici family. The Museum of Still Life is located on the second floor of the villa since June 2007. In the museum there are 200 paintings that belonged to the Medici collection. Today it is a state property.
