Beautiful caves that were discovered only in the last century by a group of cavers from Ancona. It is a real tourist attraction in the Marche. In the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Regional Natural Park with gorges, wild nature and small villages are also these caves. The first discoveries were made in 1948 but in 1971 it was the biggest discovery and later access to the caves was prepared for the visit of the general public.

You don't need any special equipment, the caves welcome everyone. A pair of comfortable shoes and a sweater are recommended because the temperature never rises above 14°C!

The guided tours along the tourist route take about 75 minutes. If you have enjoyed it, you can also participate in the most challenging routes, for adventurers, that take you deep in the mountains. In small groups you pass through narrow tunnels and slides to get to the large hidden halls where the tourist will never arrive.

Everything you need is provided with the entrance ticket. The caves are open 11 months a year, in January they are closed. If you decide to visit the caves, don't forget the rest of the Park. Three beautiful itineraries of varying lengths take you into its great nature and make you enjoy a memorable day. Finally, you can end your trip with an excellent dinner in one of the many trattorias in the countries of the territory.
