Dominio Di Bagnoli Di Lorenzo Borletti
Villa Widmann-Borletti was built by architect Baldassarre Longhena, upon commission of Ludovico Widmann in 1656, where a XI century Benedectine monastery previously laid its foundations. The somptuous and elegant residence of the Venitian Count soon became a summer retreat for nobles and artists. Among the most eminent guests, the famous comedy writer Carlo Goldoni, who wrote and staged in the Villa's theatre some of his famous comedies, sometimes even acting himself.

The most impressive statues, carved by Antonio Bonazza in 1742, are those representing the main characters of the Commedia dell'Arte. Such statues are framed by natural backstage made by hedges and turn into life during unforgettable son et lumière shows that can be performed upon request.
