Live the experience of a true Florentine house in the historic center of Florence The history of the Bed & Breakfast Casa Rovai The B & B Casa Rovai was born in 2005 after a long and careful restoration. Since 1900 has been the house of our grandparents in an old Florentine palace in via fiesolana 1. The street is from the time of Dante and was located close to the second circle of walls, from here started the way to Fiesole. During the renovations were discovered under the plaster, the ancient frescoes dating from 1500-1700, which now decorate the 6 rooms of the bed and breakfast in the historic center of Florence, on the 1st floor. Twelve years later, on the 2nd floor, we opened three new rooms, with furniture in modern style. The combination of old and new is the strong point of this B & B, always attentive to needs and tastes of the guests.
