The Pozzo in the Municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo is a tiny rural hamlet about two kilometres from Ronta in Mugello, whose origins have been lost in the passage of time. On the hills that lead up to Monte Giuvigiana and the Apennines that separate Tuscany from Romagna, it is about 500m above sea level, surrounded by the last olive groves and huge chestnut forests. The Ugolini farm still gathers the chestnuts and cultivates the olive trees in the way done in old times, with maximum respect for the environment and the simple but essential things that you can still find at the Pozzo.
