Family: for us it’s what makes everything worthwhile! Building, the long road ahead, and then ... there was still just the two of us. So we think about how things used to be ... “back then”. That country life we once knew seems like a dream, faded but never quite forgotten. But here it comes, rushing back, dictating the pace of our new journey. The flavours and aromas soon make their presence felt and the urge to share it is overwhelming. Finally, this is what I want! ... and that’s why we created Fenil Conter. It’s also why we think of our guests an extension of the family, friends with whom we can share our knowledge and love this of this generous land, which yields the delectable ingredients with which we make our simple, tasty meals, and which bathes us in the beauty of hidden corners that we haven’t finished exploring.

The restaurant offers three spacious rooms with room for around a hundred diners in total. In the summer months, the splendid swimming pool on the broad terrace lawn forms the centrepiece to outdoor events and exclusive dinners for large groups. The kitchen offers new interpretations of traditional local dishes. Cookery courses and guided tasting sessions can be organised on request. The opening hours will be as follows: Tuesday to Saturday, open for dinner 7.00 to 10.00 pm Sunday, open for lunch 12.00 to 2.30 pm

The friendly, welcoming bar is reminiscent of a country parlour, with exposed stonework and an open fireplace creating as sense of warmth and familiarity.

Fenil Conter’s beautiful, carefully tended garden makes a welcoming setting for all sorts of occasions: the perfect backdrop to a romantic, candlelit dinner, it is equally suited to hosting large lunches and dinners with family and friends, whether for a wedding, anniversary, birthday or another special occasion.

Fenil Conter offers accommodation in the form of two well-appointed apartments, each with around 80 m² of floor space, and two romantic suites, which are furnished and decorated in rustic Provençal style. By car: Take the A4 Milan-Venice autostrada, coming off at the Sirmione exit. Turn left following directions for Pozzolengo. After about 2 km, just as the road makes a half-turn, you will see two cypress trees on the right. Follow the dirt road for about 200 m and you will see Fenil Conter to your left.
