Tenuta Odegitria is born from the desire of the owners to revive the traditions of the past and to an artistic and cultural heritage that bears witness to the simplicity and industriousness of the people of the place. The owners' family (parents doctors and two sons aged 16 and 17) who lives in the central complex of trulli, "I Trulli del Massaro," is committed to ensuring, in compliance with the privacy, a pleasant and peaceful stay guests offering a B & B or holiday home among the scents and flavors of Puglia. The farm is located in the Itria Valley, a charming valley surrounded by three hills on which stand the towns of Locorotondo, Cisternino and Martina Franca and which also extends into the territories of Alberobello and Ceglie. The name of the valley has its origins in the discovery, in an underground church in the countryside of Martina Franca, an ancient icon of Our Lady dell'Odegitria (literally the "Presenter", the Guide of Wayfarers) currently housed in the Church of St. Anthony to the Basilian Capuchins in Martina Franca.
