The Monforte Castle dates back to the Middle Ages and was precisely built in the 15th century. This was named after Nicola Monteforte, who did a great job of restoration in the '400. Since this renovation, the appearance of the building changed completely: today only a few traces of the medieval plant remain. At the entrance you can easily notice the coat of arms of the Manforte lords. It is currently open to the public. Inside its large tower is the Meteorological Station. The terrace offers magnificent views of the area.
