The Castle of Tenno was built towards the end of the twelfth century. After reporting damage from the assiduous battles of the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries it was restored returning to its former glory. It still preserves the escarpment walls and the fortified bodies near the village below.

The construction takes its name from the location in which it is located. It was assumed that the castle was built around the thirteenth century. It has a massive structure consisting of an ancient tower and a residential building. Due to the collapses, the tower was lowered and therefore the original height does not match today. After the purchase of the Lodron family, it was transformed into a noble residence. It is currently privately owned.
