Excursions and Walks to Fiera di Primiero, a small town of art, luxury and sport

His name intrigues me, I asked what the name Fiera is owed to. One person, kindly, explained to me that in 1400, this precious city was the seat of the administration and fairs of the whole Valley of the Primiero. Today, the municipality is called Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, the two municipalities Fiera di Primiero and San Martino di Castrozza made a merger.
It is known that Fiera di Primiero has an interesting circuit of cycle paths suitable for those who like cycling tourism, 8 km of slopes that cross the inhabitants of the villages of Imer and Siror and connect the six inhabited centers of the Primiero Valley. Here are interesting trekking circuits of red difficulty that line the Cismon Stream where you will find ourselves in front of the enchantment of the blooming pastures and in the woods. The travel times are usually around 2 hours 30 minutes.
And, if you like architecture, and want to see one of the Gothic structures of Fiera di Primiero di Castrozza, I recommend the church of Our Lady of the Assunta< ; /strong>, one of the most beautiful Gothic style buildings in Trentino. Here you will find a considerable number of sculptures and frescoes: not to be missed. Although Fiera is the smallest town in the Valley, it boasts elegant boutiques with the best brands and numerous wellness centers.
