The construction of the castle dates back to the twelfth century. It is a medieval fortification, of which few structures are left in walls. Inside the castle, you will find dwelling buildings, rustic buildings and a watchtower. In the 17th century, it was transformed into a residence and was subject to various restorations.

The Castle of Pavone Canavese was built in the 9th century. He underwent several restorations by the architect Alfredo d'Andrade. In 1981 the building was declared a national monument. In its rooms today there are a hotel and a restaurant.
