Churches and places of worship Badia di San Lorenzo The abbey of S. Lorenzo di Trento was built by Benedictine monks between 1166 and 1183, and is one of the best examples of Romanesque architecture in the city. The structure has often been the subject of events that damaged its construction, ultimately the bombings of the Allies in the 20th century. It was restored in 1955. Today it is a place of high spirituality, charity and communion among the inhabitants of the area.
Churches and places of worship Cattedrale di San Vigilio The church of San Vigilio is the cathedral of Trento. Built in the thirteenth century on the area where it was originally an ancient basilica, dedicated to San Vigilio, patron saint of the city, from which takes its name.
Churches and places of worship Chiesa di Sant'Anna The Church of Saint Anne was erected in the late fifteenth century. On the portal there is the emblem of the Uldaric Vicar of Lichtenstein. The structure has elements of the late Gothic, combined with the Renaissance ones, the result of various renovations over the years. The interior was restored during the 90s, and during this restoration various architectural and decorative details never discovered before were detected were taken over.
