Pavia - Bridges Ponte Coperto The Covered Bridge of Pavia is located on the river Ticino, connects the historic city center and the rest of the city with the district of Borgo Ticino. The structure of the bridge is particular, since it consists of five arches and is completely covered with two portals at the ends and a religious chapel located in the center. The bridge was built in 1949, reproposing the forms of the ancient Covered Bridge, dating back to the fourteenth century.
Bormio - Bridges Ponte di Combo It took on its characteristic arched shape in 1591 and still preserves two votive chapels dedicated to St. John Nepomuceno and to the transport of a copy of the Holy Crucifix of Combo to Catalonia. In the Middle Ages it was the only way to access the town from the Frodolfo stream.
Monza - Bridges Ponte dei Leoni One of the city's historic bridges, built in '900, it was the entrance to the city. It is located in Via Vittorio Emanuele.
Lodi - Bridges Ponte sull’Adda Over the original wooden bridge was took place the Battle of Lodi. In 1859 it was burned by the Austrians in the war of liberation, but it was built a few years later as we see it nowadays.
Vimercate - Bridges Ponte San Rocco Ponte San Rocco di Vimercate was built in the twelfth century. Over the years, the bridge continued to maintain its original structure with two towers and a civic door. The construction today represents one of the most precious works of the sixteenth century. It is currently the property of the Territorial Public Body.
