Astronomical Observing Sites Osservatorio Astronomico Righi The Righi Astronomical Observatory was built in 1933 on the hilly part of the Righi in Genoa. The structure was built by professors Guglielmo Marconi and Alfredo Carlo Murri, given the excellent position of the hill that offered ample possibilities for observation. Initially it was used for private purposes and only since the last year of renovation, in 2000, it was opened to the public thanks to Marina Costa and Walter Riva.
