Castles, palaces and mansions Rocca Cerbaia The Rocca Cerbaia dates back to the 11th century. It stands on a hill, 400 m above sea level. Despite today there are only ruins left, it had a certain importance in the past, especially since it was home to Counts Alberti and then of Emperor Federico Barbarossa. One of the reasons why there is so little of the structure today is the fact that it was always used as a centerpiece in times of war.
