Campodenno - Castles, palaces and mansions Castel Belasi The Belasi castle was built in the twelfth century. This was owned by some of the most important families in Val di Non. Its defensive structure consists of a double walls. After World War II, the building was abandoned. Currently, the castle is owned by the Municipality of Campodenno, which has undertaken restoration work.
Bresimo - Castles, palaces and mansions Castello di Altaguardia The Castle of Altaguardia stands on a hill, at a height of 1280. In fact, it is the highest of all Trentino. It was built on pre-existing ruins in the Middle Ages. From the 18th century it was abandoned and only recently it has been renovated. Today it can be visited and easily reached via a path.
Sanzeno - Castles, palaces and mansions Castello di Casez o Palazzo Concini It is inserted in the village of the town, but still maintains its castle structure. The building was built in the 13th century, and had as its first owners the Bragherio of Coredo. The building is in excellent condition and is currently private property and can therefore be visited only on a few occasions.
Sarnonico - Castles, palaces and mansions Castello Morenberg The first core of the Morenberg Castle structure dates back to 1380. Following the death of the Morenberg family, the fortress became the property of the Barons of Cles. On the door of the second courtyard there was, until the last century, a coat of arms depicting a rampant greyhound belonging to the noble family.
Ton - Castles, palaces and mansions Castel San Pietro In addition to a beautiful panorama of the Brenta Dolomites, the San Pietro Castle has a historical and architectural value. It was built by the Thun family in medieval style around the 12th century. According to Franco Lancetti, who did the renovation of the castle, the tower had to be 15 meters high and around 6 meters in diameter. Historical testimonies show that the building also housed the chapel of St. Peter from which the castle took its name. It was abandoned at the end of the 17th century by the Thun and today we find the ruins of the castle.
