Museums Museo delle Navi Romane The Museum of Roman Ships was built in 1935. It housed the ships that belonged to the Emperor Caligula. Unfortunately, on 31 May 1944, there was a great fire that destroyed most of the ships. The Museum was reopened again in 1953 with what was left of it. Today it is part of the Museum Grandtour Museum System.
